Cultivated Interiors, Crafted for Living

Anna Clark is the Founder and Principle Designer at Anna Clark Bureau - architectural and interior design studio.

I approach the interiors first and foremost as an architect - shaping proportion and the internal architecture of a space so it truly serves how the space will be used. Color, finishes and details come later - once the structure already works.

Over 15 years, my bureau has taken on dozens of private residences and commercial spaces. I’m drawn to projects where the goal isn’t just to “make it beautiful”, but to find the precise architectural solution for a specific client and their way of life. I have a passion for older buildings - spaces that already have their own architecture and character.

My projects have been published in many professional magazines both in Russia and Europe. I have been rewarded with Architectural Digest Top 100 Best designers and architects in Russia in 2021.

How we work

We operate as a boutique bureau, when Anna leads every project personally, from concept and budget down to the last light switch. We handle everything in-house: design, procurement, and on-site supervision.

Our philosophy

My clients are people that work hard, make countless decisions and rarely get to rest. I design homes that help them to reset - restoring mental clarity and sparing their energy for what actually deserves it.

Why do I start to work with the space using architectural approach ? Because the brain is far more sensitive to proportion, rhythm, and geometry than we tend to realize. A chaotic layout, arbitrary ratios, visual noise — these create a kind of background tension, even when we don't consciously notice it.

When the proportions are right, a space becomes easier to relax in, easier to focus in, easier to simply be yourself in.

The same goes for light and orientation. Where the bedroom, workspace, and places of rest sit relative to the sun is not a minor detail — it directly affects sleep quality, energy levels, and the ability to concentrate. I design homes to move in step with your natural rhythms, not against them.

This is what makes the space alive and resonate with the person for whom it was created.
